Is EverWell free?

Yes. The daily devotional, prayer journal, and all three games are free forever. EverWell+ ($2.99/week, $6.99/month, or $49.99/year) unlocks the full 400-devotional library and extra reading plans — it's how we keep the lights on without ads.

What platforms are supported?

iPhone (iOS 16+) and Android (8.0+). A lightweight web version is in development for 2026 and will sync with your mobile account.

Question 3

Do I need an account?

Accepted Answer

No. You can use EverWell fully anonymously — every feature except sync-across-devices works without an account. Sign in with Apple, Google, or email if you want your data to follow you.

Question 4

Which Bible translations are included?

Accepted Answer

ESV, NIV, NLT, KJV, and MSG are bundled. You can switch translation on any screen in Settings. More translations (NRSVue, CSB, NKJV) are being added this year.

Question 5

Is my journal private?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All journal entries, prayer intentions, and gratitude lists are encrypted end-to-end on your device. We cannot read them, and there's no plaintext copy on our servers.

Do you sell my data?

No. We will never sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers. This is the hill we'd shut down on.

Question 7

What analytics do you collect?

Anonymized product usage only — which features get used, what crashes, which devotionals are popular. Nothing tied to who you are or what you wrote.

Can I delete everything?

Yes. A single tap in Settings → Account erases your account and all associated data within 24 hours. We don't keep shadow copies.

Who writes the devotionals?

Accepted Answer

A rotating cast of 30+ pastors, writers, and thoughtful laypeople across Protestant, Catholic, and Orthodox traditions. Every devotion is reviewed by our editorial director, Dr. Ruth Adeyemi.

What denomination is EverWell?

We're ecumenical. EverWell is built by Christians from several traditions and written for anyone seeking to know Jesus more honestly. We focus on what Christians across tradition hold in common.

How do you handle hard questions — doubt, suffering, politics?

Accepted Answer

With care. We don't pretend faith is frictionless. Our devotional library includes voices on grief, deconstruction, doubt, and justice. We avoid partisan political content.

Can I suggest a topic or writer?

Please do. Email editorial@everwell.app. We read every note and have brought on three writers this year from reader suggestions.

Are the games for kids?

They're for anyone who likes a daily puzzle. Wordle and Trivia work great for ages 12+. We're working on a dedicated Kids mode for early 2027.

Question 14

Can I play with friends?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Trivia has head-to-head duels, Verse Builder has co-op mode for small groups, and Wordle has a shared leaderboard you can opt into with up to 20 friends.

I missed a day — did I lose my streak?

Accepted Answer

You get one grace day per month. Beyond that, streaks reset — but we save your longest streak forever so you can remember how far you went.
